故事以前作《科学小飞侠Crowds》的后续剧情展开。距离“立川事件”已经过了一年，当初贝尔库·卡切赋予尔乃美家累的力量“CROWDS”在日本首相菅山的推广之下已在人类社会当中广泛普及。然而仍然存在着对此感到不满的人们，此时菅山遭到不明人士的袭击，GATCHAMAN的全新战斗就此揭开序幕。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents? Jean-Marie, his fiancée Micheline and his cousin Edwige investigate and finally succeed in exposing the culprit.
