该剧改编自明前雨后的小说《眼泪的上游》，讲述了夏小橘、陆湜祎、程朗、林柚等少年少女们共同度过的青春里，有关酸甜暗恋和治愈成长的故事。编剧金媛媛沙维琪担任导演。It is set in a women’s prison and follows two of “El Marginal’s” most talked-about characters in the original: the unscrupulous Gladys “La Borges” Guerra (played by Ana Garibaldi) and the cynical Sergio Antín (Gerardo Romano).。改编自埃德加·爱伦·坡的短篇小说《贝蕾妮丝》（Berenice,1835），由侯麦本人出演男主角。原著译文请参看 （曹明伦译本）或 （娅冰_Alcyone自波德莱尔法文译本的汉译）。
