Born in response to the Kent State massacre, new wave band Devo took their concept of “de-evolution” from cult following to near–rock star status with groundbreaking 1980 hit “Whip It” while preaching an urgent social commentary.。刚搬到新城镇的朱莉加入小镇备受推崇的高中啦啦队，满怀欣喜的她期待着每日练习的日子。不久后，其中一名啦啦队员遭遇神秘事故，紧张诡异的氛围顿时弥漫整个团队。然而，种种疑点看来，事件矛头竟指向教练？。
