本片翻拍自2015上映的法国电影《非诚勿扰 Un peu, beaucoup, aveuglément (2015)》，讲述既不认识也不知道名字的男女隔着一堵墙展开的左冲右撞的浪漫喜剧故事。。民国初，无人能敌的女掌门叶如舟重伤失忆后，流落贫民弄堂民福巷，阴差阳错的爱上了游手好闲的陈阿旺，为了解决当地豪强郑绝后对民福巷的压迫，叶如舟大展拳脚，却带来了巨大危机，最终叶如舟如陈阿旺一道，共同守护着民福巷的安宁。。Framing StoryDr Martin (Robert Powell) arrives at a secluded asylum "for the incurably insane" to be interviewed for a job by the wheelchair-using, authoritarian Dr Lionel Rutherford (Patrick Magee).
