《爱在摇滚的岁月》根据真人真事改编，讲的是十几年前在北京音乐圈打拼多年的“地平线乐队”终于要举办演唱会了，但在演唱会当天，乐队成员在乘车去演唱会现场的路上发生了车祸，演唱会因此取消。在之后的日子里，乐队成员各奔前程，但办一个演唱会的梦想始终没有丢弃。一个偶然的机会，有人愿意赞助他们重组乐队，但就在他们凑够了开演唱会的钱时，赞助人却卷款消失了……。Andrew Dominik’s career has been crossing paths with Nick Cave’s since 2000’s Chopper, which was scored by original Bad Seeds member Mick Harvey. Seven years later, Cave wrote the music for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, assisted by another bandmate, Warren Ellis.
